Senior BJP leader and candidate from Jhansi seat Uma Bharti today alleged that there is a in-depth conspiracy against the party it's and party's PM candidate Narendra Modi by circulating the news that she will not contest the Lok Sabha elections, following her sudden illness.

" There is no question of my moving out from contesting the elections after filing my nominations on Friday last," she said while adding that it is a conspiracy hatched by the opposition to hit BJP and Modi. " I don't know why media also involve themselves in the conspiracy," she questioned while talking to mediapersons here.

The BJP leader said she will start her campaign in Jhansi and her win would be certain.

Ms Bharti had to suspend an election meeting at Orcha in Madhya Pradesh and had dashed to Bhopal, after deterioration in health and illness on Friday evening.

Notably, Ms Bharti had filed her nomination from Jhansi Lok Sabha seat Friday and had also addressed a rally. Later, she had dashed to MP, where she visited Malthone.

The BJP leader was slated to hold a public meeting at Orcha, but the programme was cancelled after she complained of an illness.
