The United Communist Party of India (UCPI) today declared to support AAP Candidate Sadhu Singh from Faridkot Lok Sabha Constituency for the upcoming general elections which to go on polls on April 30.

UCPI, Secretary General, Comrade Sukhinder Singh Dhaliwal said his party has decided to support AAP candidate because of Mr Singh's educational background and only learned people should be elected and sent to Lok Sabha so that they could do their best for the people of the country.

SAD had fielded sitting MP Bibi Paramjit Kaur Gulshan whereas congress fielded Joginder Singh Panjgrain, Jaitu MLA. Both SAD and Congress would have to face serious challenge from the rebel Akali Dal's Seetal Singh and Gurdev Singh Gill.

Whereas AAP party has considerable influence among the rural masses and both Akalis and Congress would have to face another challenge from Professor Singh.

Jumping of both the rebels in fray has queered the pitch for Paramjit Kaur Gulshan and Joginder Singh.
