Day temperatures were appreciably above normal in some parts of Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Odisha, south interior Karnataka and of Kerala and were above normal in Jharkhand and in some parts of west Rajasthan, Konkan and Goa, Tamil Nadu and of coastal Karnataka and in remaining parts of Assam and Meghalaya, south interior Karnataka and of Kerala.


They were appreciably below normal in Uttarakhand and in some parts of west Uttar Pradesh and were below normal in some parts of Arunachal Pradesh, east Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, west Madhya Pradesh, Saurashtra and Kutch and of Telanagana. They were normal over the rest of the country. The highest maximum temperature of 43.0 deg C has been recorded at Bhira (Konkan and Goa) in the plains of the country.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Nicobar Islands and at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Haryana, Punajb, south Konkan and Goa, south Tamil Nadu, coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep. Mainly dry weather will prevail in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Gujarat State, north Konkan, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh, north Tamil Nadu, interior Karnataka and Andaman Islands.
