Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal was today assaulted by an unidentified person in the neck for a second time in recent times while campaigning for the Lok Sabha polls.


The attack took place in Dakshinpuri while the AAP leader was holding a road show. The attacker was beaten up by Mr Kejriwal's supporters before he was handed over to police.

He was taken to the police station and authorities were ascertaining the attacker's identity.

Mr Kejriwal, who did not seem to be hurt seriously, confirmed to a reporter that he was punched by the attacker and advised his supporters not to retaliate.

Mr Kejriwal was attacked in Charki Dadri in Haryana in the neck while campaigning.
