English Twenty20 specialist batsman Owais Shah has revealed the tricks a batsman can use to make sure he triumphs against 'death bowlers' in the shortest format of the game.

Death bowlers, who can produce the goods in the final stages of a limited-overs innings, have always been among cricket's most sought-after commodities as the team whose death bowlers can best dry up the runs is usually the one that comes out on top.

According to the BBC, the former England batsman, who is nowadays a T20 'gun for hire, prides himself on knowing a bowler's foibles before he walks to the crease, saying that he makes a point of trying to find out little bits of information about bowlers that he can use to his advantage.

The Pakistan-born former batsman also said that whenever a bowler looks at the stumps, he tries to stand in front of them, adding that whenever they bowl at his feet, he moves around and makes it hard as possible for them to bowl yorkers.

Shah also said that a batsman can tell when a bowler is under pressure when his body language and run-up are not right and they are panicking about fields, adding that at that moment, a batsman can sense that he has got the measure of the bowler and use it to his advantage.
