Elton John says his 1973 album 'Goodbye Yellow Brick Road' makes him cry
Elton John has confessed that his 1973 album 'Goodbye Yellow Brick Road' makes him break down in tears.
The 67-year-old singer said that the record reminds him of a time when he was innocent and hadn't descended into a long battle with drug abuse, the Daily Express reported.
John, who has been sober for more than two decades now, added that he would never do drugs if he could go back again.
The album celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2013 and has been re-released with artists including Ed Sheeran, Miguel, Hunter Hayes and music group The Band Perry covering John's classics to mark the landmark.
