Anbazhagan asks people to ignore Cong, AINRC
AIADMK State Secretary A Anbazhagan today exhorted the people to ignore both the Congress and N R Congress in the ensuing Lok Sabha election on April 24 and to prefer the AIADMK, as both Narayanasamy and Rangasamy were criticising each other.
Talking to media here, Mr Anbazhagan alleged that Mr Narayansami was 'cheating' the people by stating that it was wrong that the Union government had abstained from the American resolution against Sri Lanka and that the Congress would always support the Sri Lankan Tamils issue.
When the union cabinet had decided to abstain from the UN voting, Mr Narayanasamy was staging this to divert the attention of the people, to 'cheat' the Tamils and to secure their votes. If Mr Narayansamy felt it was wrong then he should have resigned as a member of the Union government, he said.
Mr Anbazhagan alleged that Mr Narayanasami was commercialising politics by purchasing functionaries from different parties with financial power.
He said the people of Puducherry were a confused lot since PMK and N R Congress were campaigning to make Modi the PM. It was ridiculous that Mr Rangasamy after erecting the portrait of Sonia Gandhi in his office was canvassing to make Modi the PM, he added.
