YSR Congress party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy today assured that his party would construct 50 lakh houses for poor it comes to power in the ensuing general elections in Andhra Pradesh.

'No poor man in the state would be left homeless by the turn of 2019. During these five years housing for poor will be taken up on massive scale and 50-lakh houses would be built as dreamt by late Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy', Mr Reddy promised while addressing a large gathering as part of YSR Jana Bheri at Saluru in the district.

Enlarging his five commitments made earlier, he vows to uplift poor and middle class with five more promises aimed at their all round development.

Apart from taking up massive housing for poor and homeless, he promised to give a complete facelift to Aarogyasree scheme so as every district headquarter will have a superspeciality hospital to make them within the reach of poor.

Unlike at present, will ensure all farmers would get quality and uninterrupted free power for 7 hours during day time, he said.

He announced that all liquor vending belt shops will be removed from the state and women police would be appointed in each village.

He said all measures will be taken to provide jobs to educated youth and students.
