Huge quantity of explosives was recovered from the vehicle on NH-2 and a criminal arrested in thisconnection under Kudra police station area in Kaimur district today.


Police superintendent Ratnamani Sanjeev said here that acting on a tip-off, a vehicle was searched on NH-2, leading to recovery of 12,000 electo detonators and 128.5 Kg Ammonium nitrate. A criminal was also arrested in this connection while two others managed to escape from the spot during the operation.

''Arrested criminals was being interrogated in connection'', Mr Sanjeev said adding that explosives were being transported to
Sasaram from Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh.
