JD-U to lose grounds in Bihar: Survey

New Delhi, Mar 31 : With the country gearing up for the Lok Sabha polls, a news channel survey has showed Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's Janata Dal-United (JD-U) significantly losing seats in the state.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and LJP combine might shine in the state by bagging 21 to 29 seats in the polls.

According to CNN-IBN-Lokniti-CSDS national election tracker and seat projections by Chennai Mathematical Institute Director Rajeeva Karandikar, the BJP-LJP combine will bag 21-29, Congress-RJD-NCP 7-13, JDU 2-5 and Others just 0-3 seats in the state which sends 40 MP to the Lok Sabha.

" The BJP-LJP alliance is now expected to get 43 per cent of the votes," CNN-IBN said.
