Congress condemns Jammu attack

Srinagar, Mar 28 : Urging upon law enforcing agencies to be alert and foil every bid of disruptive elements to cause any harm to the peaceful electoral process, state Congress president Prof Saif-u-Din Soz Friday said time has come that the government forces remain vigilant and not allow Kathua like incident to occur in future.
While condemning the killings, Saif-u-Din Soz said that disruptive elements want to interrupt electoral process which is going on smoothly in Jammu and Kashmir.
He urged upon law enforcing agencies to nab all those culprits involved in attack on Army and innocent people at Kathua.
Meanwhile, the BJP lashed out at the Congress for following appeasement policy towards Pakistan and separatist leaders of Kashmir.
BJP candidate for Udhampur- Kathua-Doda constituency soon after the Kathua attack told reporters that this was an act of anti-national forces who were frustrated by the grand success of Narendra Modi's rally at Hiranagar on Wednesday.
Jitendra Singh lashed out at the Congress leadership for its weak kneed policy towards Pakistan and appeasement towards separatists.
He also flayed the government for allowing unchecked sale of army uniforms which were used by the terrorists in Friday's incident.
It is pertinent to mention here that at least one person was killed and four others were injured on Friday in twin terror attacks in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir.
A group of three terrorists in army uniform opened allegedly intercepted a Mahindra Bolero SUV on the Jammu-Pathankote highway in Kathua around 5 am and fired indiscriminately at the passengers.
