BJP's campaign anthem launched

New Delhi, Mar 25 : Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Arun Jaitley on Tuesday released party's Campaign Anthem for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

The CD with the anthem song was released at the BJP headquarters here.

"Concept lyrics and creation have been done by Shri Prasoon Joshi and Team Tag. The music has been composed by Shri Aadesh Shrivastava. Shri Sukhwinder Singh has lent his voice for the song," the BJP said in a statement.

BJP leaders Ravi Shankar Prasad, Jagat Prakash Nadda and Nirmala Sitaraman were also present in the function.

"The anthem has been titled 'Saugandh' - A pledge to the nation. It talks of the mood of despondency in our country and our collective pledge to ensure that we set our country firmly in the path of progress. In this anthem our Prime Ministerial candidate Shri Narendra Modi expresses his resolve to ensure that India will stand tall and proud, that the recent setbacks will not be allowed to come in the way of India's glorious future. We hope that all Indians will join us in this pledge of service to our nation," the party said in the statement.

'Saugandh' campaign has been adapted for radio, television and other media.

The party said 'Saugandh' will be played at BJP rallies, public meetings starting with Bharat Vijay rally on Tuesday.
