AAP seeks Munde's disqualification

Posted on Mar 24 2014 | IBNS

Mumbai, Mar 24 : The Maharashtra unit of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Monday sought the disqualification of Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Gopinath Munde.

The AAP is likely to file a complaint with the Election Commission in this regard.

"This comes after Munde's estranged nephew, MLC Dhananjay Munde alleged that he was asked to arrange one lakh bogus votes for his uncle during the 2009 Lok Sabha elections. He had then facilitated bogus voting in Beed district," reported CNN-IBN.

Dhananjay Munde is now a member of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP).
