Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Friday expelled its two leaders on charges of corruption.

Awadh Convenor Aruna Singh and Hardoi Treasurer Ashok Kumar were expelled after they were allegedly caught taking money.

"We got a complaint that some of our members were demanding money for election tickets. We investigated and found our Awadh Convenor Aruna Singh and Hardoi Treasurer Ashok Kumar guilty. So we sacked them today," said Kejriwal.

"We will never compromise on corruption," he said.
