Lenovo to continue acquiring companies for overall growth
Lenovo's CEO Yang Yuanqing has reportedly said that the company will keep buying companies until it achieved an overall growth.
The Chinese PC giant recently purchased Motorola Mobility from Google for 2.91 billion dollars.
According to Tech Crunch, Lenovo also bought IBM's server business for 2.3 billion dollars, after Lenovo purchased IBM's personal computer division in 2005 for 1.25 billion dollars.
Meanwhile, the company reportedly sacked a good number of employees to reduce the number to around 3,500 employees from 30,000 in the last two years before it was acquired by Lenovo.
After the company's shareholder meeting, Yuanqing said that the company can continue to grow its business without cutting any employees.
