Kejriwal accuses Modi of development work in favour of corporate
Aam Aadmi Party Chief Arvind Kejriwal attacked Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi's claims of development in Gujarat and said that he has done development works only in favour of corporate houses and betrayed the farmers.
Addressing a rally in Ahmedabad, Kejriwal accused Modi, of favouring big corporate houses like Adani and Ambani.
"In Gujarat we are seeing development only in favour of Adani and Ambani. The farmer's blood has been sucked to favour the corporates. There is a lot of corruption in the entire state. Lands of farmers have been snatched and given to Adani. Many farmers have not got any compensation and people are fed up with corruption," he said.
Kejriwal further added that there is development in Gujarat, but only for the corporate houses and farmers remain in devastated as they have not got any compensation in return of lands.
The former Delhi Chief Minister also attacked the media for creating a false image of Modi and said that if people got to know the reality they would never vote for the BJP prime ministerial candidate.
"The media has created a false image of Modi by continuously lying about facts. They have portrayed Modi as a leader of farmers. If farmers of this country get to know the truth about Modi and about the condition of farmers in Gujarat, not a single farmer of this country will vote for Modi," he said.
