Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo Arvind Kejriwal on Friday triggered a controversy by traveling in a chartered plane of corporates to travel from Jaipur to Delhi to attend the India Today Conclave.

He said the India Today Group paid for the plane.

Speaking on the issue, the foirmer Delhgi Chief Minister tweeted:
"Reached india today conclave from jaipur. Since there was no regular flt, india today group hired a charter to reach me in delhi on time..india today has paid for it."

He asked Congress vice-president Rahul Ghandhi and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi to disclose the names of people who pay for the plane they use to travel.

"I wud urge modi ji and rahul gandhi ji also to disclose whose planes r they using and who pays for them," Kejriwal said.

The Delhi Chief Minister often slams political leaders for using chartered aircraft of corporates.

BJP leader Smriti Irani said Kejriwal move has 'exposed' him.
