The auction of supposedly real and never-before-seen sex tape of Marilyn Monroe, former US President John F. Kennedy and his brother Robert F. Kennedy has been called off.

William Castleberry, a former Hollywood bodyguard, had previously told TMZ.com that the recording was seized from his home and was being auctioned off to cover a 200,000 dollars court judgment against him.

Now, the Tulare County Sheriff's Department has told the gossip site that the auction was cancelled because Castleberry had settled his debt.

Meanwhile, Castleberry's attorneys have alleged that they do not know who made the payment.
