"There will be problem for the country in the future, mark my words," Reddy told NDTV.
"The Congress party has always been saved by Andhra Pradesh. I don't think Telugu people will ever forget this," Reddy warned.
He said his political career in not important than the future of his state
"My political role is not paramount for me. The state's unity and the future of Telugu people is paramount. Linking the state's bifurcation with political gains is wrong," Reddy told the news channel.
A day after the controversial Telangana Bill was passed in the Lok Sabha, Reddy on Feb 19 resigned from his chair as a mark of protest.
"I'm resigning for failing to fulfill my duties," Reddy said at a press conference here.
Reddy submitted his resignation letter to Governor ESL Narasimhan.

He has also acknowledged the Congress Party for providing him an opportunity to become the Chief Minister.
