CPI-M expels leader Abdur Rezzak Mollah
The Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) on Wednesday expelled former MLA Abdur Rezzak Mollah from the party.
The party said it has expelled the former West Bengal minister due to 'serious anti-party activities' and 'tarnishing the image of the party'.
The decision was taken during a meeting of the CPI-M's West Bengal unit on Wednesday.
"It has been decided to expel Comrade Rezzak Mollah from the party due to serious anti-party activities and for tarnishing the image of the party in public eye," the CPI-M said in a statement.
