None can snatch away Arunachal: Modi

By Hemanta Kumar Nath, Pashighat (Arunachal Pradesh), Feb 22 : Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)'s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi on Saturday attacked China's stand on Arunachal Pradesh said that no power in theworld can snatch away the state from India. During the Bijay Sankalp Abhiyan rally held at Pashighat in Arunachal Pradesh, Modi said Arunachal Pradesh is the land of the brave and the people of this region have always stood firm against China. "Arunachal Pradesh is an integral part of India and no power of the world can snatch away our land," Modi said. Raking the issue of Arunachali youth Nido Taniam's death in New Delhi, Modi assured his family and the people of the hilly state said that the culprits will be punished. "The Delhi government has to be responsible and take stern action for security to the North-East people in the capital of nation," Modi said. Attacking the Congress, Modi said the nation would have developed a lot if the government would not have been looking after a 'particular' (Gandhi) family. "You need a government in Delhi, which is sensitive to solve problems of this state and listen your voice. Now you have to decide, what you need," Modi said. During the rally, Modi raised the issue of development in Arunachal Pradesh and other parts of the north-eastern region.
