Clear stand on gas pricing: Kejriwal to Modi
New Delhi, Feb 21 : Former Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo Arvind Kejriwal on Friday wrote to Gujarat Chief Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)'s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi and asked him to clear his stand on gas pricing.
"Arvind Kejriwal asked 3 questions to BJP Prime Ministerial Candidate Mr.Narendra Modi in his letter. These questions are the voice of common people of India. Aam Aadmi wants to know. Will Modi ji dare to reply? 1. If BJP forms the government, will Mukesh Ambani be given $4/unit or $8/unit for gas? 2. What relationship does your party and you share with Mukesh Ambani? 3. What amount of money are you spending for your election campaign and where does it come from?" posted the AAP on its Facebook page.
The AAP said a similar letter will be sent to Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi on Saturday.
Earlier on Feb 16, Kejriwal slammed Modi and said he should 'break his silence' on the gas pricing scam.
"Modi shud break his silence on gas pricing. Also, what is his relation and his party's relation with Mukesh Ambani and Adani?" Kejriwaltweeted.
"Wud 2014 elections be fought betn AAP n Mukesh Ambani, with Rahul and Modi being agents of Mukesh Ambani?" he said.
Kejriwal on Feb 14 said supremo alleged that Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) chairman Mukesh Ambani is supporting the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government fort the past 10 years and even he backs Modi.
"Three days ago we lodged FIR against Mukesh Ambani. Ambani is running the UPA government for the last 10 years. He is also backing Modifor the past one year. How else Modi gets so much of money?" Kejriwal said.
Kejriwal on Feb 11 said he has ordered to register First Information Report (FIR) against Petroleum Minister M Veerappa Moily, former petroleum minister Murli Deora and RIL Chairman Mukesh Ambani for conspiring to inflate the prices of gas in the capital.
The FIR has been reportedly registered under sections dealing with criminal conspiracy, cheating and other sections of the Prevention Of Corruption Act.
