New Delhi, Feb 15 : As Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo Arvind Kejriwal resigned as Delhi Chief Minister, the Congress said he was seeking for an excuse to run away from his responsibilities.
"Kejriwal is a negative person and a liar. He talks big but actually he was looking for an excuse to run away," sad Congress spokesperson and former Delhi CM Sheila Dikshit's son Sandeep Dikshit.
"His resignation was well-anticipated as he was never serious about running the government," he said.
Hours after the AAP government-backed Jan Lokpal Bill was not tabled in the Delhi Assembly, Kejriwal resigned on Friday after remaining in power for 49 days.
