Kejriwal wanted excuse to run away: Congress
As Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo Arvind Kejriwal resigned as Delhi Chief Minister, the Congress said he was seeking for an excuse to run away from his responsibilities.
"Kejriwal is a negative person and a liar. He talks big but actually he was looking for an excuse to run away," sad Congress spokesperson and former Delhi CM Sheila Dikshit's son Sandeep Dikshit.
"His resignation was well-anticipated as he was never serious about running the government," he said.
Hours after the AAP government-backed Jan Lokpal Bill was not tabled in the Delhi Assembly, Kejriwal resigned on Friday after remaining in power for 49 days.
