By Saleem Qadri, Jammu, Feb 11 (IBNS) Amid ruckus in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly over the proposal for new administrative units in the state, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) MLA Mushtaq Ahmad Shah was injured on Tuesday after being allegedly dragged from a bench.

Shah was immediately shifted to hospital for treatment. Reports said that his condition is stable.

Many opposition members stood on benches during uproar in the legislative assembly on Tuesday, compelling speaker to adjourn the proceedings for the whole day.

Pertinently, PDP legislatures are alleging "discrimination" with Kashmir in the creation of new administrative units recently.

Earlier, scenes were witnessed in the assembly as PDP legislator threw chair and pushed the Marshall and raised slogans against state Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.

PDP legislators stormed into the well of the House raising slogans against Omar Abdullah for not arresting ex-minister Shabir Khan in a molestation case.

The legislators also raised issues like JKCA scam allegedly involving National Conference (NC) president Farooq Abdullah and custodial death of a party worker Yousuf Shah.
