Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi on Tuesday said that people supporting the Third Front is indirectly reinforcing the Congress led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government, here.


Addressing the rally at the Vijay Sankalp Samabesh in Bhubaneswar in Odisha Modi flayed the Third Front of putting impetues to the Congress government and particularly slammed the BJD government of Naveen Patnaik in the state.

Modi said, "3rd front has one thing to do- save the Congress when they are in trouble:"

He added, "If I want to do good for the state I need MPs of BJP from here. We need a direct line from Odisha to Delhi."

Slamming the Orissa government, Modi said, "Has the Government been able to give drinking water to you."

Modi talking about the agricultural progress in the state said, "Under Shivraj Chouhan agriculture growth has crossed 15% in Madhya Pradesh but under Congress it was barely 2-3%."
