Rahul in Odisha, Modi in Kerala

Bhubaneswar/Thiruvananthapuram, Feb 9 : Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi is on a two-day poll campaign visit to Odisha, that began on Sunday while Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi is in Kerala for his canvassing.

Gearing up for the polls, Rahul would attend different programmes in the state on Feb 9 and 10 and also address a public meeting at Salepur in Cuttack district, media reports said.

He was scheduled to visit an educational institute on Sunday after his arrival, where he is scheduled to interact with students for nearly an hour.

The Gandhi scion will also go to Salepur for a public meeting. On Monday, he is expected to interact with people belonging to different minority groups in the city.

Keeping up with his rival's schedule, Modi has addressed the 9th Convocation ceremony of SRM University in Kattankulathur, Chennai.

The Gujarat CM is also scheduled to address the BJP Mahasammelan at Shankumugham beach in Thiruvananthapuram.
