Lindsay Lohan accused of throwing drink at photog during fashion week

London, Sept 16 : Actress Lindsay Lohan has sparked fresh controversy after allegedly hurling a drink over a photographer at a New York Fashion Week event on Wednesday.

The 'Mean Girls' star was said to have become infuriated after Jasper Rischen took her photo at the fashion party hosted by V Magazine bosses, reports the Daily Express.

Stunned eye-witnesses then took to Twitter.com to report the alleged incident.

A 'tweet' on the Women's Wear Daily blog stated, "Lindsay Lohan just threw a full drink at a boy at V magazine party who dared to snap her pic," while Rischen himself added, "Wow. Lindsay Lohan is as trashy as they always say. She threw drinks and glasses to me as we tried to take a shot for V magazine."

Lindsay took her tantrum-throwing a step further and punched a brunette woman in the face. A source reports that the woman had to be taken to the hospital for excessive bleeding.

In posts on the Twitter page for fashion website Styleite, a reporter in attendance wrote, "Now people are bleeding at the v magazine party. Not sure what's going on, but it's at Lindsay Lohan's table... FDNY outside... Poor girl taken out in an ambulance... To clarify: girl left in an ambulance but looked OK. FDNY were calm, took their time." (ANI)
