Pune, Oct 29 (UNI) Rains or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places in south coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, south interior Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Few places in Jammu and Kashmir, north coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalseema, coastal Karnataka, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and isolated places in Telangana and north interior Karnataka may also be hit by rains of squall.

Mainly dry weather is likely to prevail in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat state, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada.

Day temperature was appreciably to markedly above normal in coastal Karnataka, some parts of Konkan, Goa, appreciably above normal in some parts of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat state, Madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha, Chattisgarh, coastal Andhra Pradesh, interior Tamil Nadu, south interior Karnataka, Kerala.

It was above normal in Orissa, Telangana, Rayalseema, some parts of Jharakhand, Bihar, east Madhya Pradesh, remaining parts of Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat state, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha, coastal Andhra Pradesh, south interior Karnataka and Kerala.

Night temperature was appreciably to markedly below normal in some parts of Orissa, Chattisgarh, appreciably below normal in Gangetic, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, some parts of Bihar, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Vidarbha and below normal in some parts east Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, remaining parts of Gangetic West Bengal, Haryana, Vidarbha and Chattisgarh. Night temperature was appreciably above normal in some parts of Rajasthan, Rayalseema, remaining parts of Himachal Pradesh and above normal in parts of Uttarakhand, Kashmir, Saurashtra, Kutch, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, south interior Karnataka, remaining parts of Madhya Maharashtra and Telangana.

Rain or thundershowers occurred at many places in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, few places in Rayalseema, Andaman, Nicobar and Lakshadweep Islands and isolated places in coastal Andhra Pradesh, coastal and south interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather prevailed in Gujarat state, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana and north interior Karnataka.
