"Sola baras ki" reference from Ek Duuje Ke Liye! 😠Total nostalgia. She was an icon of her time. Good to see Tanuj honoring his mom like this. In our culture, a mother's place is supreme. More power to them.
This is so sweet. You don't often see such personal glimpses from Indian film families. The caption is genuinely touching. It's nice to see a celebrity son who is so openly affectionate and respectful.
Respectfully, while the sentiment is beautiful, I find these overly polished social media tributes a bit much sometimes. The real love is in the everyday actions, not just a birthday post. That said, the photos are lovely and she looks radiant.
Her career graph is inspiring! From a Hindi film heroine to working in so many South industries and even English/Bengali films after a break. A true artist who adapted and evolved. Wishing her a wonderful year ahead as a grandma!
My mom is a huge fan of Rati ji from her Tawaif days. She'll love seeing these throwback pictures. It's amazing how some stars from that era have such timeless elegance. Tanuj's words "my north star" really hit home. Jai Mata Di.
