The resilience of our vendors is amazing! Even in heavy rain, Thoothukudi vegetable market is operating. This is the spirit of Tamil Nadu - rain or shine, life goes on. But authorities should ensure proper drainage to prevent waterlogging.

The cancellation of Nilgiri Mountain Railway services is concerning for tourism. Landslides in that region can be dangerous. Hope the track clearance happens quickly and safely. Beautiful route, but safety first!

While the alerts are helpful, I wish the corporation would improve the drainage infrastructure in Chennai. Every year we face the same issues during monsoon. Prevention is better than cure!

Good decision to declare holiday for schools in Thoothukudi. Children's safety should always be priority during such weather conditions. Hope all districts follow similar precautions where needed. 👍

The forecast of the low-pressure area developing into deep depression is worrying. Hope the authorities are prepared with adequate disaster management plans. Coastal areas need special attention during such weather systems.
