The reality show 'Hip Hop India 2' has decided its winner for its second season. Contestant Shubhankar, who is known by his stage name, Hectik, was crowned the winner.

With Remo D'Souza and Malaika Arora added at the helm as the judges, Bollywood actors Sara Ali Khan and Adtiya Roy Kapur graced the season finale. They were there to promote their upcoming film 'Metro...In Dino'.

The finalists included Hitesh, Rule Breakerz, Aman-Kunal, and Lil Pool, each of whom brought their own signature styles to the stage. Shubhankar owned the stage and raised the winner's belt in a moment that was nothing short of electric. He plans to explore new arenas, from reality shows to acting in films, theatre, and web series, paving the way for greater recognition of the genre and showcasing the limitless reach of his artistry.

Reacting to his win, Shubhankar said, "My journey at Hip Hop India S2 has been incredible and something that I'll never forget. Shubhankar truly deserved this win! His krumping was next level 🔥. Shows how Indian hip-hop is evolving beyond just rap battles. Hope to see more dance forms getting mainstream recognition like this!

While Shubhankar was amazing, I personally felt Rule Breakerz brought more innovation to the table. The judges seem biased towards krump style this season. Still, congratulations to the winner! 👏

Bollywood stars promoting their films on dance reality shows has become so predictable. Couldn't they let the dancers have their moment without the movie promotions? 🤷‍♂️ That said, Hectik's final performance was lit!

As someone who followed both seasons, I'm so happy to see hip-hop getting this platform! Shubhankar's journey was inspiring - from underground dancer to national champion. More power to MX Player for supporting urban dance culture in India! 💃

The production quality of Hip Hop India is better than most TV dance shows. No unnecessary drama, just pure talent. Shubhankar's story-telling through movement was something else! Hope he gets good opportunities in Bollywood now.

Malaika's comment about Shubhankar making you 'feel magical' is so true! His performances gave me goosebumps every time. But I do wish they showed more of the other contestants' journeys too. The editing focused too much on the winner from mid-season.
