Why don't our religious places have better crowd management systems? After so many stampedes, we still haven't learned. The government needs to implement proper safety measures before more lives are lost.

This is heartbreaking 💔 I was there last month with my family. The stairs are always so crowded, and people push each other. The temple authorities should limit the number of devotees at a time.

While the rumor was the immediate cause, the underlying issue is lack of infrastructure. Haridwar sees lakhs of pilgrims but has no proper emergency exits or trained staff to handle such situations.

The person who spread this rumor should be punished severely. Because of such irresponsible behavior, innocent lives were lost. May God give strength to the bereaved families.

I appreciate the quick response by police and locals who helped shift the injured to hospital. But we need permanent solutions - better lighting, wider pathways and emergency protocols at all major pilgrimage sites.
