The league's journey began in 2014, and over the past 11 Seasons, there have been 8 different champions. Season 11 of PKL - held from October 18, 2024, to December 29, 2024 - was a significant milestone, as the league entered its second decade, which further solidifies PKL's position as one of India's premier sporting leagues, enabling sustained growth and interest in kabaddi.

It also serves as a platform to showcase the wealth of global talent for India's indigenous sport. We look forward to seeing how teams tap into our rich talent pool to build their squads at the upcoming PKL Season 12 Player Auction."

Under the aegis and sanction from the Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India (AKFI), Mashal Sports and JioStar have built PKL into one of India's most successful sports leagues. The growth of PKL has been phenomenal! From village grounds to prime time TV, kabaddi has come a long way. But I wish they'd reduce ticket prices so more common people could watch matches live.

As a sports lover, I'm proud of how PKL has put kabaddi on the global map. But we need more international players participating to make it truly global. The Iranians and Koreans have shown great skills in past seasons.

Exciting times for kabaddi lovers! 🎉 Hope they introduce more women's kabaddi matches too. Our women's team has won so many international tournaments - they deserve similar league exposure!

The auction strategy makes all the difference! Last season Patna Pirates spent too much on star players and lost balance. Teams should focus on young talent from rural India - that's where the real kabaddi skills are.

PKL has made kabaddi so glamorous! But sometimes I feel the essence of traditional kabaddi is getting lost in all this commercialization. Still, it's great to see our desi sport getting this recognition.
