As a 90s kid, this makes me so happy! We grew up listening to these legends on cassette tapes. Dark Side of the Moon was my first album purchase from Rhythm House in Mumbai. Nostalgia hitting hard!

Respect for Pritam's taste, but I wish he'd incorporate more of these influences in his Bollywood compositions. Most of his songs still sound very commercial. Miss the experimental Pritam from Life in a Metro days.

My dad introduced me to Pink Floyd when I was 15. Now at 28, I still listen to "Wish You Were Here" every week. Glad to see our Bollywood musicians have such refined tastes beyond just Bollywood music!

Interesting to see the global influences on Indian composers! I'm an exchange student in Mumbai and this makes me appreciate Bollywood music even more. Maybe I'll hear some Floyd influences in Metro...In Dino's soundtrack now 👀

Pink Floyd + Queen = Perfect combo! No wonder Pritam's music has that unique edge. Though I wish more Bollywood composers would talk about RD Burman's influence too - our own psychedelic rock pioneer!
