While I appreciate the economic cooperation, I hope our government ensures Indian fishermen's rights are protected in any agreement. We've seen issues in the past with neighboring countries.

The 565 million USD line of credit is significant! This shows India's commitment to neighborhood first policy. Maldives is strategically important and this will counter Chinese influence in the region.

As someone working in international trade, I must say the IMFTA negotiations come at the right time. With global supply chains shifting, this could position both countries as important trade hubs in the Indian Ocean region.

The social housing units and infrastructure projects are the real game changers for common Maldivians. This is how India should build goodwill - through people-centric development rather than just political statements.

I hope the FTA includes provisions for easier travel and work permits. Many skilled Indian professionals could contribute to Maldives' tourism and healthcare sectors. Win-win for both nations!

The commemorative stamp is a nice touch, but let's not forget the real issues. The debt relief is substantial - hope Maldives uses these resources wisely for sustainable development.
