Like a skilled surgeon, Indian armed forces conducted operation: Rajnath Singh at Silver Jubilee Celebration of KNS Hospital

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh praises Indian armed forces for surgical precision in Operation Sindoor, targeting terror camps while sparing civilians.

"Like a skilled surgeon, Indian armed forces conducted an operation. – Rajnath Singh"

Lucknow, May 20

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday lauded the Indian armed forces for their precision in Operation Sindoor, paralleling them to skilled surgeons who struck at the roots of terrorism in Pakistan while ensuring civilian areas were not harmed.

Speaking at the Silver Jubilee Celebration of KNS Hospital in Lucknow, Singh said, "...We work at the Ministry of Defence, under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi. We do the treatment of terrorists across the border...India initiated Operation Sindoor against terrorism and successfully targeted the terrorist camps located in Pakistan and neutralised a large number of terrorists. Indian armed forces worked like able doctors and surgeons...Just like a skilled surgeon uses his tools at the root cause of a disease, the Indian armed forces too used their tools with precision at the roots of terrorism. But Pakistan is habituated to not mending its ways easily. It started attempts to attack India and target civilians as well."

Congratulating the armed forces, Minister Singh said that Pakistan attacked Temples, Gurdwaras and Churches, but retaliatory action by the Indian armed forces made the Pakistan military fall to their knees.

"Temples, Gurdwaras and Churches were targeted. The retaliatory action by the Indian armed forces made the Pakistan military fall to their knees. When we were undertaking retaliatory action, utmost care was taken that only the terrorist camps in Pakistan are targeted, and no attack is done on civilian areas. Like a skilled surgeon, Indian armed forces conducted an operation. I congratulate them on this," Singh said.

Speaking at the same event, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath called Operation Sindoor a symbol of India's self-respect, the honour of the 'sindoor' of the women of India, and a guarantee of the safety of the coming generations.

CM Yogi said, "Operation Sindoor is a symbol of India's self-respect, honour of 'sindoor' of the women of India and guarantee of the safety of the coming generations. Pakistan and its supporters were doing anything they wanted. But to protect its 'aan-baan-shaan', India did what PM Narendra Modi had assured the citizens of the country..."

CM Yogi further stated that India is a symbol of the culture, which will always be a guide and ray of hope for humanity, whereas Pakistan is a distortion whose fate is to die and to rot.

"India is a symbol of the culture which will always be a guide and ray of hope for humanity, for the world. Pakistan is a distortion whose fate is to die, whose fate is to rot, whether it dies in the hands of India or dies due to the actions of terrorists they themselves nurture, it is certain. What is written in their destiny will definitely happen," CM Yogi said.

Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh was among the dignitaries who attended the Silver Jubilee Celebration of KNS Hospital, alongside BJP MP Sudhanshu Trivedi and Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak.

Our forces deserve all the praise! 🇮🇳 The surgical strike analogy is perfect - precise action against terror camps while protecting civilians shows India's military maturity. Pakistan must understand we won't tolerate terrorism anymore.

While I support our armed forces, I wish politicians wouldn't mix military operations with religious symbolism. Operation Sindoor is about national security, not sindoor or temples. Let's keep the focus on counter-terrorism.

Jai Hind! Our soldiers are the real heroes. But bhaiyon, can we also talk about better equipment for them? Surgical strikes need sharp tools - hope the government is investing properly in defense modernization.

The medical analogy is interesting but we must remember real surgeons save lives on both sides. While I condemn terrorism, I hope for peace someday where both nations can focus on development rather than conflict.

Strong message to Pakistan! But why announce operational details at a hospital event? Our forces' strategies should remain confidential. The political speeches sometimes reveal more than needed.

Salute to our brave soldiers! 👏 But as a mother, I worry about escalation. Pakistan keeps provoking, but we must be both strong and smart. Hope diplomacy continues alongside military action to protect our jawans.
