As someone living near Bommasandra, this metro line is a blessing! No more expensive cabs to reach city center. But I hope they've planned proper last mile connectivity with buses/autos. Infrastructure development should be holistic.

Good initiative but the cost seems too high. ₹7160 crore for 19km? Other countries build metros at much lower costs. We need more transparency in infrastructure spending. Still, better late than never for Bengaluru's traffic woes!

As an expat working in Bengaluru, I'm impressed with the metro expansion. The existing lines are quite efficient. This new connectivity will make life easier for thousands of IT professionals commuting daily to Electronic City area. Kudos to the planners!

Phase 3 announcement is exciting but when will it be completed? We've seen so many delays in Phase 2. Hope they stick to timelines this time. Bengaluru needs this infrastructure yesterday, not 5 years later!
