KL Rahul has always been a class act in England conditions! His 149 at Lord's in 2021 was pure batting bliss. Hope he carries that form into this series too. The team needs his experience at the top order. #ComeOnKL 🇮🇳🏏

His average of 34 in England is decent but not exceptional. With Gill as captain now, KL needs to step up consistently. Too often he plays one brilliant innings and then goes quiet for matches. Time to show he's not just a white-ball specialist!

Remember his 199 against England in Chennai? The man has talent but needs to convert starts into big scores. England's bowling attack is strong - Broad, Anderson, Wood - but KL has handled them before. Fingers crossed for another special knock! 🤞

Why is everyone forgetting his keeping duties? Playing as keeper-batsman in tests is tough, especially in swinging conditions. Hope the management gives him proper rest between matches. We don't want another Pant-like injury situation 😟

His technique against swing is actually better than most Indian batsmen. That high backlift helps him play late. But he needs to curb his natural attacking instincts in early overs - no need to play fancy shots when the ball is moving around!

Honestly, I'm more excited about the Jaiswal-Gill opening pair. KL should bat at No.5 where he can stabilize the innings if early wickets fall. His experience will be crucial in the middle order against England's reverse swing later in the innings.
