$52 billion trade is impressive, but we need to focus on reducing the trade deficit. Our exports to Saudi are only $10 billion while imports are $42 billion. We should push for more Indian manufactured goods and IT services in the Saudi market.

Great to see our diplomatic efforts paying off. The Strategic Partnership Council is working well. As someone working in the Gulf, I've seen how Indian companies are expanding in Saudi Arabia. This will benefit both nations economically and strengthen our centuries-old ties.

While the economic numbers look good, I hope these partnerships also focus on skill development and technology transfer. Many Indian professionals work in Saudi Arabia - better collaboration could mean better opportunities and working conditions for them.

The historical and cultural ties between India and Saudi Arabia make this partnership special. Beyond economics, I hope this strengthens people-to-people connections and makes travel easier for Indian pilgrims visiting Mecca and Medina.
