As someone who visits Goa every year, better air connectivity is much needed! The current flight prices from Delhi are ridiculous during peak season. Hope this initiative brings more competition and reasonable fares. Also love the focus on cultural tourism beyond just beaches and parties 🎉

Concert economy sounds fancy but will it benefit local Goans? Most tourism money goes to big hotel chains. They should ensure small businesses and homestays get equal opportunities in this new model. Also need strict rules to prevent over-tourism damaging Goa's fragile ecosystem.

Good move! Goa deserves better international connectivity. Right now Europeans have to fly via Mumbai/Delhi which adds hours to their journey. Direct flights from Europe and Middle East will bring more high-value tourists. Just please don't turn Goa into another commercialized destination like Bali.

They talk about preserving Goa's soul but what about controlling the illegal constructions and garbage problems first? Every year beaches get dirtier. Before bringing more tourists, fix basic infrastructure and waste management. Otherwise this is just empty talk.

As a travel agent, I welcome this! Goa needs to move beyond seasonal tourism. The monsoon months see empty hotels while locals struggle. Year-round cultural and spiritual tourism is the way forward. Maybe highlight Goa's beautiful churches, temples and heritage homes more.

Hope they improve the airport facilities too! Dabolim is so crowded and chaotic during season. Maybe fast-track the new Mopa airport development? Also need better last-mile connectivity - taxis charge absurd rates from airport to Panjim. Overall good initiative though 👍
