As someone from Darjeeling, I'm especially proud! 🏔️ Our mountain girls are showing the world what they're capable of. But let's not forget the local trainers and guides who make such expeditions possible - they deserve recognition too.

While this is a great achievement, I wish media would highlight more such stories from ordinary schools and colleges too, not just NCC. Many students climb mountains without institutional support - their struggles are equally inspiring.

My daughter is in NCC and this news has motivated her so much! 👏 The discipline and opportunities NCC provides are unmatched. More parents should encourage their children to join - it builds character beyond academics.

Wonderful achievement but I hope the Rs 10 lakh reward is just the beginning. These cadets should get scholarships and career opportunities too. Our achievers often get momentary fame but need sustained support to excel further.
