We visited Jaisalmer last New Year and the crowd management was a mess. Glad to hear they are planning better this time with extra parking and police deployment. Fingers crossed it works smoothly.

All these measures sound good on paper. The real test is on the ground. I hope the police are strict with the drunk drivers and not just doing token checks. Too many accidents happen because of this.

As a tourist planning to be in Rajasthan, this is reassuring. It's important to feel safe while celebrating. Using stadiums for parking is a smart solution to the usual space crunch.

Respectfully, while security is crucial, I hope the focus is also on helping people enjoy themselves without excessive harassment. Sometimes these checkpoints turn into long, frustrating queues for sober drivers too.

It's nice they mentioned Khatu Shyam Temple. For many Indians, New Year is also a time for prayer and devotion, not just partying. Good to see a balanced report covering both aspects. 🙏
