Produced under Yash Raj Films, the movie is slated for release on April 17, 2026, and is expected to mark a milestone in female-led action cinema in India.

It's great to see her get international recognition, but I hope this leads to more substantial roles for women beyond just being "first female-led" action film. The industry needs to back such projects properly, not just as a novelty.

Alpha in 2026? That's such a long wait yaar! But if it helps create a proper, well-made action film with Alia and Sharvari, it will be worth it. Bobby Deol's casting is interesting too.

As someone who follows global cinema, this is a significant step. The Golden Globes Horizon Award recognizing impact beyond Hollywood is commendable. Alia and Hend Sabry both deserve this spotlight.

Calling a female-led film a "risk" says a lot about our industry, doesn't it? Hope Alpha smashes the box office and changes that mindset for good. All the best to the team!
