Zendaya has praised her husband Tom Holland for handling the pressure of being Spider-Man with grace. She admires how he connects with young fans and carries the character's weight in real life. Zendaya shares what she admires about Tom Holland

Hollywood star Tom Cruise was miffed when actress-director Olivia Wilde was served custody papers on stage at CinemaCon.Hollywood actress Zendaya is a big fan of her husband Tom Holland's ability to cope with the pressure of being 'Spider-Man'.

The 29-year-old actress stars alongside her husband, in the money-spinning 'Spider-Man' movies, and Zendaya has now heaped praise on Tom for leading the film franchise, reports 'Female First UK'.

She told Fandango's Big Ticket, "My favourite thing about Tom's Spider-Man is how Tom handles Spider-Man outside of Spider-Man. So many people connect to this character, to Peter Parker, to Spider-Man. Especially young people, especially children".

The actress, who stars alongside Tom in 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day', added, "He's just handled that weight with such grace, and really loves and cares so much about the character and what the character means to other people".

As per 'Female First UK', Zendaya is particularly impressed by how Tom handles himself in front of young fans.

She said, "I just love seeing what and how you carry Spider-Man through your life in real life".

Meanwhile, Tom previously admitted that drinking was "getting in the way" of his career at one point in time. The 30-year-old actor quit drinking in January 2022 and Tom described alcohol as an "incredibly dangerous thing".

The actor told USA Today, "I've been so lucky in the last four years that my career has really blossomed in a really lovely way, and I really love what's happening and what I have to come in the future. And I don't know how much of that would've come to fruition had I still been drinking".

Tom faces intense scrutiny over his personal life, and he believes that alcohol actually makes the stresses of fame even worse.

The actor, who worked with Zendaya on the Spider-Man films before they started dating, shared, "Drinking was something that was ultimately really getting in the way of my professional life. Being an actor and living your life on the big stage can be really stressful. And I think that alcohol, for me personally, really compounded that issue".

"And, since getting rid of the booze and feeling more like myself and waking up clear-headed every day and fresh to start the day, I just feel so much more confident in myself as who I am as a person", she added.

Zendaya sounds like a very supportive partner. It takes courage to admit you have a drinking problem, especially when you're in the spotlight 24/7. I hope more celebrities, even in Bollywood, take inspiration from Tom's journey. Arre yaar, stars are also humans after all. 🥺

Interesting how Zendaya focuses on Tom's off-screen behaviour. In an age where celebrities often get caught up in scandals, Tom's decision to quit drinking and stay grounded is commendable. Though I must say, the Spider-Man movies have become more about the actors' personal lives than the actual superhero story.

As a Spider-Man fan from childhood, Tom Holland truly embodies Peter Parker's spirit. But this article focuses too much on the personal drama. Can we talk about 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day'? Also, Zendaya and Tom seem like a lovely couple, but I hope the media gives them some privacy. In India, we know how toxic that can get. 😅

It's heartening to see Tom Holland talk openly about alcohol and mental health. Being in the public eye is tough, and his honesty is admirable. Zendaya's admiration for him is sweet, but I wish the article had more details about their work rather than just praise. Still, good for them. 🌟

Zendaya's comments show a mature perspective. Tom has handled fame better than many Indian actors who start drinking and partying after success. His decision to quit alcohol is inspiring for young fans.
