When John Abrahim ended up eating 64 chapatis in one sitting
Mumbai, July 3
Did you know that once our fitness freak Bollywood actor John Abraham ended up eating 64 chapatis at a restaurant?
Sharing the fun incident, John revealed that it was an unlimited thali, and the size of the chapatis was extremely small, hence he ended up eating so many. Not just that, seeing him having so many chapatis, the waiter told John that they also have rice.
As the 'Force' actor appeared on "The Kapil Sharma Show', host Kapil asked him, "Once you ate 64 chapatis in a restaurant. Then the waiter told you, sir, there's rice too."
John revealed the incident in his own words, saying, "After a football match, I went to a Gujarati thali restaurant. And I went there because we were young. And at that time, that unlimited thali and the size of the roti were this much. (Gestures a small size with his hands). So, I ate 64 chapatis, and the waiter told me, "There's rice too". I told him to feed me the rotis first."
Later on, the 'Welcome Back' actor revealed that he also ate rice after finishing those 64 rotis.
Talking about his professional commitments, John is presently busy working on his upcoming action entertainer, 'Force 3', which will also feature Harshvardhan Rane and Tanya Maniktala in key roles, along with others.
Speaking about his next, he revealed that they plan to take the 'Force' legacy forward in a big way with the third instalment.
John said in a statement, "Force has always been a franchise I've believed in deeply. What makes it special for me is that it has a certain grit and a strong identity that audiences have connected with over the years."
"With Force 3, we're taking that legacy forward in a big way. I'm also really excited to introduce Harsh as an action hero. He has the presence, the energy and the hunger for it, and I think audiences are going to enjoy watching him in this space," he went on to add.

As a Gujarati, I can confirm those unlimited thali rotis are indeed tiny—almost like mini papads. Still, 64 is insane. John must've had some serious hunger after football. But why waste food? Even if it's unlimited, moderation is key, yaar.
Wait, he ate rice after 64 rotis? That's not just fitness, that's a superpower. I'm from the US, and I can barely finish a burger and fries. John's metabolism must be on another level.
Honestly, this is just a fun anecdote from his youth. As a fellow fitness enthusiast, I wonder how he managed to stay lean after that. Must've been one hell of a workout that day. Also, Kapil Sharma's show always brings out the best Bollywood stories.
Powerstar moment! 🔥 John's dedication to action roles is unmatched. Can't wait for Force 3—hope it's as gritty as the first one. And yes, the chapati story is legendary. That waiter must've been shocked.
Okay, 64 chapatis? That's more than a dozen rotis per hour if it was a long meal. John must have a stomach like a bottomless pit. I'm curious if he could do this today at his age. Fun fact, though.
