A large number of devotees gathered at Gangotri Dham as pilgrims continue to visit the temple to offer prayers and seek the blessings of Maa Ganga on the second Monday of Shravan. This is how it should be done. Police personnel working on the ground during Shravan month deserve our gratitude. I hope the same arrangements continue for the rest of the yatra season. Har Har Gange! 🚩
Good to see that authorities are being proactive. But I think they should also deploy more volunteers from local organizations to help elderly and specially-abled devotees who struggle with long queues. Let's make darshan easier for everyone.
I visited Gangotri last year and the police were very helpful. They guided us through the queues and made sure everything went smoothly. Great to see the same dedication continuing this year. Thank you to all the jawans on duty! 🙏
It's heartening to see such well-managed arrangements, but I hope they also focus on basic amenities like drinking water and shade for pilgrims waiting in the queues. That would make the experience more comfortable for everyone.
Every year during Char Dham Yatra, the police do a commendable job. Let's not forget that they work in tough mountain conditions too. Hats off to the entire team for ensuring a peaceful darshan for all devotees. Jai Ganga Maa! 🙏
