UP: Nitin Nabin, CM Yogi Adityanath hold meeting with BJP's office bearers in Lucknow
Lucknow, July 4
In line with the preparations for the upcoming Uttar Pradesh 2027 Assembly elections, BJP National President Nitin Nabin arrived in Lucknow on Saturday for a crucial two-day organisational visit.
Nabin, along with UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, attended a meeting with the party's office bearers at the BJP office in Lucknow.
The visit is being viewed as a major effort to streamline the party's state machinery and sharpen its electoral strategy.
Ahead of the highly anticipated high-level organisational review meetings, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak welcomed BJP National President Nitin Nabin to Lucknow, stating that there is "tremendous enthusiasm" among the state's party workers.
The remarks from the Deputy Chief Minister came as thousands of party cadres lined the streets of Lucknow to accord a grand welcome to the BJP National President, who arrived in the state capital on Saturday morning for a crucial two-day organisational visit.
Speaking to reporters on the massive turnout, Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak said, "Today, a huge crowd has gathered to welcome Nitin Nabin. On behalf of the people of the state, I welcome and congratulate him. There is tremendous enthusiasm among the party workers in the state."
Nabin's visit is being viewed as a major strategic step to streamline the party's machinery and solidify its roadmap ahead of the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.
This is Nabin's first visit to Uttar Pradesh after the formation of the new state BJP team.
During the visit, the BJP chief is set to hold organisational meetings with senior party leaders and office-bearers. He will also be interacting with BJP public representatives, leaders of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and prominent personalities from different fields.
The visit assumes significance in view of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections scheduled next year and is aimed at sharpening the party's strategy while guiding the newly constituted state unit and strengthening the organisation. Nabin is also scheduled to address the Shakti Kendra Convenor Conference.

The enthusiasm among party workers is palpable! 🙌 CM Yogi and Amit Shah have built a strong organisation in UP. This visit will only strengthen it further. The opposition seems clueless, while BJP is already planning ahead. That's the difference between a professional party and a family-run one!
Interesting strategy to start preparations two years in advance. Meanwhile, the opposition in UP is still figuring out who will lead them. BJP knows that organisation wins elections, not just charisma. Let's see if they can maintain their momentum from 2022.
Another political visit, another photo op. 🙄 What about the real issues - unemployment, farmers' distress, inflation? The common man is struggling to make ends meet, and they're busy with organisational meetings. Someone needs to remind them that elections are won on performance, not just booth management.
It's impressive how the BJP manages to keep its cadre motivated even when elections are years away. Most parties only wake up six months before polls. This kind of organisational discipline is what makes them formidable. The Shakti Kendra Convenor Conference sounds like a well-thought-out grassroot initiative.
As a Lucknow resident, I saw the huge crowds today. Love it or hate it, but BJP knows how to mobilise people. However, I hope these meetings also focus on improving infrastructure in the state. We need better roads, healthcare and education, not just election strategies. Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas should mean development for all, not just vote banks. 😊
