"Training plays an important role in personality development. It provides all trainees the opportunity to understand culture, specialties and diversity of each other's states. It strengthens the spirit of unity in diversity," Governor Patel added.

During the address, the Governor emphasised that trainees should use experiences of their state's distinctiveness and instructions of training in the interest of the nation and contribute to building of "Ek Bharat-Shreshtha Bharat".

The Governor boosted trainee officials' morale, saying that they are among those fortunate people who have got the opportunity to serve Mother India by becoming a part of Sashastra Seema Bal Academy, Bhopal.

"Your uniform is not just an identity, but a symbol of the respect of society and the nation," Governor Patel added.

"As sentinels of the nation, your decisions and actions are extremely important. With your talent, establish new standards of modern technology, professional knowledge, physical and mental alertness in border security management. It must be ensured that anti-social and anti-national elements are controlled firmly," he said.

The Governor concluded his speech with congratulating all trainee officers and extending best wishes for their selection in the prestigious force of the country.

Respect to all the personnel. But I hope the government also focuses on improving their living conditions and modern equipment. Speeches are good, but action on the ground is what matters most for our jawans.

As someone who has lived near a border area, the presence of forces like SSB gives immense peace of mind. The line about citizens sleeping peacefully because they are on duty hit home. Thank you for your service.

The challenges mentioned - Naxalism, smuggling, cyber-crime - are very real. We need a smart, tech-savvy, and alert force. Hope the training incorporates all these modern threats. The uniform is a responsibility, not just pride.

My cousin is in SSB. The training is indeed tough and shapes character. Hearing such recognition from leadership boosts morale not just of the trainees, but also their families who sacrifice so much. 🙏
