The UEFA Champions League 2025-26 witnessed multiple interesting encounters during matchday 8 as Benfica thrashed Real Madrid at their home venue and Arsenal continued their unbeaten streak in this season.

Arsenal's consistency is impressive. Unbeaten run is not easy in this league. But conceding two goals against the bottom-placed team is a bit worrying for their defense. They need to tighten up at the back for the knockout stages.

Liverpool's 6-0 win! Salah scoring as usual. But honestly, the gap between the traditional big clubs and teams from smaller leagues seems huge. Qarabag from Azerbaijan and Kairat from Kazakhstan getting hammered. UEFA needs to think about this format. 🤔

As an Indian football fan, it's just amazing to follow all this action. So many matches, so many stories. Barcelona's comeback was class. But the real story is Benfica! Trashing Real Madrid at home is the stuff of dreams for their fans. What a night in Lisbon!

Harry Kane and Bayern Munich are just a machine. Solidifying top two. Meanwhile, PSG as defending champions are 11th? That's a shocking position. They have the squad but maybe not the team spirit. Ligue 1 dominance doesn't translate to UCL consistency.

Enjoying the upsets this season. Makes the group stage more interesting than just watching the usual suspects win every game. Chelsea beating Napoli away is a good result for them too. The middle of the table is getting very crowded.
