Happy to see Minister Bikash Debbarma taking interest in TTAADC development. But we need to see concrete timelines for these projects, not just talks about 'coordination'. The tribal youth need jobs, education facilities, and proper roads. Let's hope this time results are visible!
Transparency is key 🔑. We've seen many development meetings happen in Tripura, but the benefits rarely reach the ground level. Hope the emphasis on 'transparency and accountability' mentioned in the article is implemented seriously. Tribal welfare shouldn't just be election talk!
Good to see multiple departments working together. The coordination between state government and TTAADC is crucial for development. I hope they also focus on preserving the unique tribal culture and language while building modern infrastructure. Both can go hand in hand. 🙏
Respectfully, such review meetings are held every year but ground realities remain the same in many TTAADC villages. I appreciate the intent, but the real test will be when funds are actually used for quality roads, healthcare, and education in remote areas. Let's see if deadlines are met this time.
As someone from the region, I can say TTAADC has immense potential for tourism and horticulture. The 'Viksit Tripura' vision should also include skill development centers and local entrepreneurship support. Electric lines and roads are needed yes, but sustainable livelihood opportunities are equally important! 🌱
